Launch Recap: Business Expansion Blueprint
We just wrapped up the re-launch of Business Expansion Blueprint, our signature program to master plan your offer suite, build your clear year plan + create lean systems, and then bring in your dream hire so you can scale to optimized CEO status.
On a personal level, this was a much-anticipated release as I had gone deep into upgrades for BEB to best complement the 2022/2023 business landscape – there’s something very special to me about spending so much intimate time with the curriculum and finally being able to put it in the hands of students.
So as we speed toward the end of the year, when you’re likely also looking forward to launches of your own, let’s take a quick recap of everything that went down during our Business Expansion Blueprint launch…

The Secret to Our Strategy:
Have you ever hosted a hybrid live launch? You know we are always testing and experimenting with something new in order to report back to you with our findings- so here’s the tea on this low-key behind-the-scenes offer launch.
Business Expansion Blueprint’s launch was actually 80% behind the scenes and only 20% publicly promoted.
That’s right, we opened up the BEB sale privately to our most viable segment of our email subscribers, before opening it up to the public on social media.
Just as I teach in Live Launch Academy, we identified what is most important to our viable segment right NOW, and utilized those desires to drive our messaging for the campaign.
With us nearing the end of the year, we knew that year-end-planning, revenue pushes, and 2023 preparation is top of mind for most of our audience.
From there we crafted angles and messaging around that so we have a solid north start established for this sale [vs just crossing our fingers and building out a funnel/assets without any of these insights].
The Free Live Workshop
Milestone wise, we hosted both a workshop AND an encore workshop [with the replay hosted inside of a Kajabi product until November 4]: How to Get Clients to Line Up and Pay You, a 90 minute live event in which I revealed the proven roadmap to turn prospects into clients who are eagerly saying “take my money!”
Here’s the thing, I was able to prepare my high performing workshop that provided tons of value without actually giving away the kitchen- a concern I see discussed quite frequently.
There is in fact a way to host an outstanding, high value workshop that goes beyond the just sharing “foundations”.
It may feel hard to figure out, but you can absolutely hit the sweet spot where you deliver the right amount of content to be valuable while still keeping the best of the best inside your offer.

Ads & Social Efforts
Next utilized our PAR framework (prime, announce, and remind) for the workshop and then the sale via social promo and placement in The Goods (our free weekly newsletter).
We focused our entire social efforts on bluntly talking about the offer VS educating/being subtle in the messaging – see here, here, and here– and utilized the top portion of our 10/25 issue of The Goods [if you’re not on the list to receive this newsletter CLICK HERE].
During the promo for the workshop and hype for the “encore” event, we found it most helpful to switch up our graphics, mixing static posts that could be archived after the workshop with Reels that featured obsessable-audios to capture new viewers.
Additionally, we pushed a set of paid ads for both the workshop and sale. These came in the form of both static graphics and selfie-style videos to pattern interrupt when shown on the feed.
Our workshop campaign was specifically targeted to a warm audience, and the BEB sale specific ads retargeted that same group.
We intentionally avoided sending ads to people who had not attended the workshop because we wanted to promote only to the warmest of audiences.
Organic Manual Efforts
The name of the game during this launch was “communication.”
We wanted to ensure our audience felt clarity around the workshop and special offer, and had the ability to connect with me personally to ask questions.
We employed one of my favorite tools for communication during a launch- the direct text message line.
I dropped my # so that workshop attendees and potential BEB purchasers were free to chat with me 1:1 about the sale or ask questions about the curriculum.
We also created a hot leads list from the workshop attendees who were exceptionally participatory.
From that list I sent out direct emails to provide additional clarity, and created customized loom videos when needed to really support in their decision making process.
Because this program had been live launched before, there were certain pieces of the puzzle that we already had covered [think messaging, social proof to promote with, etc], however we did end up creating a budget for ads and updated designs:
• Overall Ad Spend: $3,094.34 [this was between prelaunch and open cart campaigns]
👉 Pre-Launch Ads Alone [ads for the workshop event]: $800.19
👉 Open Cart Ads: $2,294.20
• Overall ROAS (Return On Ad Spend) of $18.22 – meaning for every $1 we spent on ads, we made $18.22 in BEB sales.
Design: $950 for Updated Sales Page
Assets We Prepared
We fine tuned particular assets before the launch, including:
• Updated Business Expansion Blueprint Sales Page Copy & Design
• New Checkout Design
• Custom Onboarding Sequence [created for new students with homework that allowed them to prepare for the bonus call] #AccountabilityWin!
• Bonus Call Curriculum [never before taught in this style]. This call is all about how to identify your most valuable money making offer RIGHT NOW to then sell behind the scenes for a cash infusion… which should sound familiar as it’s exactly what we did during the hybrid sale we discuss in the beginning of the blog.

Sneak Peak of Our Systems Ahead!
I’m not just teaching expansion- I’m living it. Our Business Expansion Blueprint launch was made possible through a detailed and often reactive set of systems that we utilized inside ClickUp.
Our project manager worked with each team member to outline exactly what needed to happen and when. This is a crucial part of our process as with any launch, there are many moving pieces with detailed steps that have a major impact on the outcome of the launch process.

Not all launches need to be large scale, some are hybrid utilizing more of your warm email subscribers + lighter social promotion: BUT this only works if your messaging is dialed in and your audience is active.
