From climbing the corporate ladder to full-time serial entrepreneur and 7-figure business builder, I’m here to share the strategies that make entrepreneurship and small business growth feel doable (and dare I say, fun). Grab a seat, get comfy, and let's make this the year your small business goes big!
Not too long ago you took that “crazy dream” and turned it into a business. From blinking cursor on the Google Doc and multiple ideas in your notes app, to building out programs or products people are now actually buying, late launch nights answering DMs, always thinking of ways you can expand what you’re doing and so much more… Every step of crafting a profitable online business and offer has its’ growing pains and learning curves.
But at the end of the day you actually built it. You made that dream a reality…and that alone is worth celebrating.
Fast forward to today and maybe you’re now in this space of knowing you’ve created fairly consistent revenue and looking at how you can push beyond what is currently possible.
Right now you might be hitting that 100k-150k yearly revenue mark and you have clients and proof your offer and strategies work. But, that sharp incline in sales has hit a plateau.
Now you’re in what feels like a continual testing zone. Maybe you need more content or different types of content, a new offer, maybe even starting a podcast to reach more people?? – The “more” has you pulled thin.
And? The proof is not in the pudding.
Some months may feel great. But, more often than not you’re probably feeling like you may have hit that revenue ceiling for what’s possible with your current offer, audience or marketing plan.
Before you go deep into your thoughts around this, let me interrupt that self chatter… That revenue ceiling is possible to break through and you won’t always be stuck where you currently are. Let me map out the exact next steps you need to take. Because the beauty of online business is that it’s kind of like working out– bear with me…
You need to implement some “progressive overload”
Because what got you here to these 100k- 150k/years is NOT what will carry you to $1 mil/years and beyond….
“The business and strategies you built that got you to the current stage of business cannot and will not be what carries you to the next stage of business.”
WHAT WORKED
The Framework That *Most Likely* Got You Here
I need you to first and foremost give yourself real credit because what you pulled off in the early years is genuinely hard. Most people quit here.
When entrepreneurs reach this stage of business (100k-150k years) it’s usually a magic mix of:
Consistent social media presence
Warm and constant outreach
Word of mouth referrals
Weekly new client discovery calls with leads
Learning the art of selling on social, stories, and in your DMs
You got good at reading the metaphorical room a lead was in, if they were a good fit, and closing the sale.
Everything you experienced, created, and learned along this journey to 100k-150k years has…
Taught you things about your business and what you need to actually see those sales come in
Showed you more about your ICA and what they are experiencing so you can truly connect with them
All of what you’ve done has worked – until now.
WHAT STOPPED WORKING
What Actually Causes A Sales Plateau
You’ve outgrown the sales strategies that worked for you before.
And the business model you currently have in use is using too much of your precious time.
Every sale still requires you to be the engine.
Warm outreach works, until you run out of warm people, or until you hit the point where doing it every week feels like a second job on top of your actual job.
Referrals are beautiful and deeply unpredictable. Launches spike your income and then leave you exhausted, starting the whole cycle over again.
The audience you worked so hard to build? It’s stagnating.
The same people are liking your posts, commenting the same things, never quite pulling the trigger – because there’s no system guiding them anywhere.
I talk about this often as the “already popped kernel” effect. You’ve already popped all the leads (kernels) in your audience. Now, you’re preaching to the choir. They love what you have to say. But, they are already (financially) invested. So, we need to push beyond this current audience and if you currently have a freebie – it’s likely doing very little heavy lifting.
You also may have a relatively small/underutilized email list, so when it comes to your next launch it feels like a big push or that you need to “start from scratch.”
“If you’re posting consistently but seeing no growth – it isn’t a content problem. It’s a conversion architecture problem. We need to take a deeper look at the structure and messaging of your business and offer/s.”
And this is where entrepreneurs plateau and sometimes slide backward or stagnate. Because when revenue dips, the instinct is to do more of what worked before. More outreach. Another launch. More content.
Maybe for a while this seems to work, or it at least brings you to a flat and consistent line, but, the growth isn’t happening.
It’s a loop of do more > watch little to no change > wonder what to do next to resolve.
Let’s break down your next steps from a: structure, systems, support, marketing, and lead generation standpoint.
STRUCTURE
Build the Business That Matches Where You’re Going
WHAT TO SHIFT
Ease back on that founder muscle deep in flex.
Right now at the 100k-150k/year level- you may be using a lot of manual effort (and a lot of it is your own).
Every sale comes back to you: a conversation you had, a post you wrote, a pitch you made, etc.
It’s hard to move forward when every active sale must go through you directly.
The structural (suggested) moves that can support you:
Step 1: Automate any monotonous tasks (ManyChat to any new leads that follow you, set up easy pathways to apply/express interest in offer/s)
Step 2: Outsource any daily/weekly/launch specific tasks or projects that don’t directly require your expertise or vision
[BONUS] Step 3: Creating an evergreen LTO (low ticket offer) as the front door into your ecosystem. This should tee up your signature/main offer. This should be a $197 – $497 range. It’s a well priced entry into your ecosystem that attracts leads and primes them for any offers at higher tier/price point/access to you.
Like I always say: “People who have already said yes with their wallet, even at a small scale, are infinitely more likely to say yes again. (That’s on LTV)”
Your high-ticket offer is the destination, but right now there’s no road leading to it.
A low-ticket offerbuilds that road.
Get this right, and everything downstream gets easier. Your list gets warmer. Your launches convert better. Your sales conversations are with people who already trust you.
It’s the structural foundation that makes all of the other pieces work.
SYSTEMS
Stop Rebuilding From Scratch Every 60 Days
WHAT TO BUILD
Consistent revenue is the result of having repeatable systems quietly doing the work in the background – whether you had a great week or not.
Here’s what I continually see working:
An automated lead generation system that brings qualified people into your world on a reliable cadence, without you manually driving it every single time. I talked about a hack for this on my Instagram yesterday, here.
Nurture emails tied to your opt-ins are crucial, so that the moment someone raises their hand and downloads your freebie or buys your LTO, there’s a sequence already waiting to build the relationship, establish your expertise, and move them toward what’s next.
Clear, mapped buyer journey for every offer you have, so that a cold lead who finds you today has a natural, logical path to follow that primes them to invest, without you having to personally escort them through every step.
The question to ask yourself honestly: if you stepped away for two weeks, would revenue keep moving? If the answer is no, or even “maybe”- your systems aren’t built yet. They’re still you. And that’s the thing to fix first.
SUPPORT
Build the Team That Frees You to Lead
WHO YOU NEED IN YOUR CORNER
One of the quietest killers of growth at this stage is trying to do everything yourself. Not because you aren’t capable (you seriously are), but because the things consuming your time and brainpower often aren’t what your time is best spent on from a profit stand point.
If I spend 10+ hours navigating spreadsheets and deep in my numbers – sure, I could… but, that wouldn’t bring me joy and it certainly won’t help move the needle.
Every hour you spend on tasks that aren’t in your zone of genius is an hour you’re not spending on strategy, on selling, on the work only you can do.
^ That is where you’ll see maximum revenue generation!!
This is where building a support system becomes a real business decision, not a luxury.
That might look like…
~ A VA or team member who handles your inbox and scheduling ~ A tech person/OBM that builds out your funnels and automations ~ A content repurposer who takes your long-form content and multiplies it across platforms ~ A copywriter who takes the voice of consumer musings you have been knee deep in for weeks and turns it into money making conversion-copy filled emails
You don’t need a full team overnight – but you do need to get honest about where your time is going and start offloading what doesn’t require you.
The goal is to work in the lane where you’re most valuable – and let the right people carry everything else. That’s when your effort starts to compound instead of just circulate.
MARKETING
Your Amended Content Strategy for the Rest of 2026
WHAT’S WORKING RIGHT NOW
What your marketing needs right now is a sharper strategy. One that actively builds an audience of buyers who are already moving toward a decision before they ever get on a call with you or peruse a sales page.
What I see as king right now (as of March 2026): edu-taining content
Content that borders a fine line between entertaining and teaching your ICAs about your offer/niche topic.
Now, I am not saying you can’t use other types of content… by all means- try it! But, across the board this style of content is getting the most eyes, engagements, and conversions.
This type of content pulls people in, builds genuine trust, and creates the kind of engagement that translates into conversions.
Think: ~ Behind-the-scenes breakdowns of what’s actually working in your business ~ Strong opinions on what everyone else is getting wrong ~ Real results paired with the strategy behind them ~ Content that makes your audience feel smarter for following you and makes buying from you feel like the obvious next step. ~ Taking a trend and tailoring to your brand/offer/niche
And if you’re not using AI tools to support your content creation yet, now is the time to start. I suggest Claude!
From generating content angles to repurposing long-form videos into short clips, captions, and email support, there are so many tools right now that can significantly cut your production time without cutting your quality!
LEAD GENERATION
Maximize the Leads in Your Sales Pipeline
HOW TO MAKE IT WORK
If you can’t point to a specific mechanism that is reliably bringing new, qualified leads into your world every week- not referrals, not launches, not luck… you need to think about your lead generation strategy.
You cannot convert someone that is not in your orbit just yet. A freebie is the bridge for you!
Like I said at the beginning of this blog- you may have one. But, if your sales have plateaued – it’s time to reevaluate the freebie.
If your freebie isn’t bringing in qualified leads it’s not that the freebie is bad – but, it wasn’t designed with your buyer in mind. Maybe you just created something to snag lead email addresses? It’s okay – this is very common!!
The shift:
Create a freebie that solves a real, specific problem your ideal client is actively searching for a solution to. Something so genuinely useful that the people who download it are already pre-sold on the fact that you know what you’re doing. Then – and this is the part most people skip – you need a consistent strategy for getting cold audiences to actually find it. Content with CTAs will help funnel ICAs there! Pop it in your link in bio too! And don’t skimp on mentioning in stories as often as possible too!
The goal here: The freebie does its job: it warms your lead, builds trust, and naturally creates the desire for more. That’s when your higher-ticket offer becomes the obvious next step – not a hard sell, but a natural continuation of a journey they’ve already started!
And if you want to take it a step further, a low-ticket offer positioned between the freebie and your high-ticket work creates a buyer bridge that makes that final investment feel completely logical.
THE BOTTOM LINE
What Consistent 20k-30k+ Months Actually Requires
The great news: you’ve already done the hardest part!
You proved the concept, built the skill, and generated real revenue from nothing.
What’s standing between you and consistent 20k-30k months is the willingness to stop relying on the strategies that got you here and build the systems that will take you beyond your current revenue ceiling.
That means…
A low-ticket offer that creates buyers, not just subscribers.
A lead generation system that runs on autopilot.
Marketing that converts, not just connects.
A structure your revenue can compound inside of, rather than collapse between launches.
And real support from a team ready to help you maximize your energy and efforts while staying in your zone of genius.
This plateau is temporary. But, if you keep doing the same things and expecting different results. Well, you know what they say….
“Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is the definition of insanity.”
The entrepreneurs who break through aren’t smarter or more talented than you.
They just built the right foundation at the right time and they stopped waiting until they felt “ready” to do it.
You’re already ready. You just needed the map.
